Jeff Hoenig receives IESNYC Special Award

CBB Associate Jeff Hoenig is the winner of a 2016 IES New York Section (IESNYC) Special Recognition Award. The award recognizes “. . .outstanding service to the Section, that has significantly furthered the purpose of the Society . . . in various programs and activities.” Jeff received this honor at the 2016 Lumen Awards Gala on June 16.  With an attendance of over 900, this was the annual event’s largest celebration ever.

Jeff is co-chair of the IESNYC’s Education Committee, a group that offers a range of classes and workshops on the technical and design aspects of architectural lighting. As an instructor of these programs, Jeff provides the members of the NYC lighting community with opportunities to hone their knowledge and design proficiency. The award commends him for the “. . . hard work and dedication [that] allow us to maintain the very high standards for which our Section is known.”
