CBB Principal Francesca Bettridge was featured as the keynote speaker at the Expo Lighting America (ELA) 2011 Conference in February. Held at Mexico City’s Banamex Center, the event marked the first conference in Latin America to be dedicated solely to the lighting profession. ELA hosted lighting industry design and manufacturing professionals, as speakers at the symposium.

Francesca’s presentation, entitled “The Lighting Designer’s Importance in Architectural Projects,” explored current trends in architectural lighting, the lighting designer’s significance within project design teams, and the critical role of lighting design in successful project outcomes. Case studies of four key CBB projects provided relevant examples of this theme. Francesca has already been asked to speak again at next year’s ELA Conference.
