CBB Project a Condé Nast Traveler Cover Story

The refurbishment of the grand Ocean House hotel in Watch Hill, Rhode Island is a great example of CBB’s lighting design for historic building restorations and hospitality projects.  The hotel is the cover feature for Condé Nast Traveler‘s July 2014 issue.  The article is an interesting read, providing an overview of the hotel’s history, its fascinating transformation into a modern destination, and the challenges of restoring a structure built in 1868.

CBB Principal Stephen Bernstein and Senior Associate Nathalie Faubert, working with Centerbrook Architects & Planners, used lighting fixtures and technology to meet today’s lighting expectations, while honoring the building’s Victorian design.

Ocean House was also featured in American Express Platinum Card’s Departures (July/August 2010 issue).
