BRONX COMMUNITY COLLEGE NORTH HALL AND LIBRARY

Bronx, NY

The new, 98,600 square foot North Hall and Library at Bronx Community College is designed to blend in with the school’s Stanford White campus. The lighting design of this LEED Silver building celebrates its classical architecture—particularly its grand, double-vaulted, double-height main reading room—while remaining energy-efficient and maintenance-friendly.

Throughout the building this approach creates an environment that is inviting, functional and practical. The lighting design is essential in creating an inspirational and dynamic facility to serve the College’s historically disadvantaged student body.
