MOODY’S

New York, NY

CBB provided interior lighting design for Moody’s Corporation when the firm moved its Manhattan offices to 7 World Trade Center. This world-renowned financial management, investment and economic analysis services provider leased 15 floors of the new office tower to accommodate future growth. The project offered Moody’s Class A office space to meet the needs of the firm’s expanding workforce and facilitate the use of state-of-the-art technology.

The lighting scope included a large cafeteria, a conference center with lighting control systems to support presentations to large groups, a full-floor cafeteria with private dining areas, office floors, and all public circulation spaces. CBB also designed specialized lighting for artworks displayed in key locations.

The lighting is unified with the architecture, and fixtures are gracefully integrated to create the desired ambience. CBB’s lighting solution balances aesthetics, user comfort, ease of maintenance and budget considerations in a design that reflects the owner’s brand and corporate image.
