The European Union (EU)’s new, 11-floor workplace in Washington, DC houses offices, meeting and conference spaces, a café, and videoconferencing facilities.

Upon entering one is greeted by a number of exhibit pieces relating to the EU its history and member nations. A backlit, glass wall displays a timeline of key dates and events, and wall-mounted, illuminated glass fins represent EU members’ flags. CBB also worked closely with the Architect on the design of a “mobile ceiling,” which lowers four stories for easy lighting maintenance, in the stair atrium.
