The New York Times City Room blog reports on a project of the Illuminating Engineering Society of New York (IESNY) to highlight the role of lighting design in architecture.
The 2009 IESNY publication of a self-guided tour of New York City lighting designs features Lumen Award winning lighting designs, including LEED® Gold certified 7 World Trade Center. CBBLD has received numerous lighting awards, including a 2007 Lumen Award of Excellence for its work on 7 World Trade Center and its many innovations in energy efficient and beautiful interior and exterior lighting.
